hi marcus,
cool dass du dich immernoch mit dem thema beschäftigst, obwohl es bei dir schon läuft
ich wollt schon fast aufgeben und meine MVP wieder in eine schublade stopfen - aber das was du da schreibst macht mir hoffnung! mein router/DHCP-server ist ein thomson speedtouch 546. in der DHCP konfiguration gibt nicht unbedingt viel her:

da ich aber nicht auf den DHCP des routers angewiesen bin sondern meine netzwerkdevices sowieso alle eine fixe IP haben
wäre eine integration des DHCP-servers in den vdr mit den entspr. möglichkeiten einer TFTP zuweisung ausreichend.
EDIT:
moment - du sagst im vompserver addon ist das integriert?
muss ich mal probieren - ich werde den router als DHCP-server verwenden und in den configs:

OK? - wobei in der vomp-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.conf die IP meiner MLD steht.
oder gilt die für die MVP? da würde ich dann eine IP kollision haben.

na das hört sich ja vielversprechend an! da werd ich dann mal ein wenigprobieren.
@Marcus - ein paar fragen noch:
-hast du einen router oä. als DHCP server oder macht das der vdr bei dir (stichwort MVPRelay)
-bei meiner mvp version D3A wird das mit der dongle.bin.ver dann wohl nicht notwendig sein - ?

voraussetzungen:
etc/vdr/plugins/vomp-00-00-00-00-00-00.conf ist in GROSSB. im ./vompserver/ verz.
die vomp-dongle ist verlinkt und zus. auch schon im plugins verz.

---erster test mit folgender änderung:
MVPRelay enabled = yes

so, ist jetzt da.
es ist ein AF9015 chip drauf, und ein TDA18218 tuner. auf dieser seite ist eine anleitung für ubuntu.
auf meinem ubuntu rechner dürfte es damit gehen - zumindest kann ich mit kaffeine das dvb-t gerät anwählen und einen suchlauf starten.
nur hab ich einen lausigen dvb-t empfang. brauch evtl. eine dachantenne

im dvb bzw. dvb-usb addon hab ich aber auch keine module oder firmware für die eingebauten chips entdeckt.
wird wahrscheinlich nicht out-of-the-box gehen - oder?

müsste eigentl. gehen oder? - ich werds einfach riskieren!

also ohne dein problem genau zu kennen, würde ich sagen dass das mit dem tool nicht gehen wird, da dort eine graphische benutzeroberfläche  (Xserver) vorausgesetzt sein dürfte, den es auf der MLD nicht gibt.
es sei denn, es gibt einen kommandozeilen-betrieb.
glaube ich aber nicht, da das tool ja eben einstellungen am graphischen teil vornimmt.

hi,
also das opt. laufwerk wird afaik normalerweise nicht sofort gemountet. erst wenn eine anwendung (dvd, mplayer, ...) darauf zugreifen will wirds autom. eingebunden.
per osd hast du bei den diversen addons ja auch mit den farbtasten die möglichkeit extra zu un/mounten.
es gibt auch andere addons wie zb. mediad die das automatisch machen.

bin ja schon gespannt wie sich die mld in richtung hd entwickelt.

nur so nebenbei - ich weiss zwar nicht wie weit sich ein ubuntu-system für reinen vdr-betrieb abspecken lässt, aber in der vers. 9.10 soll "auf manchen systemen" die bootzeit auf bis zu 10sec. verkürzbar sein.
das wär schon ein argument - sofern es sich dabei nicht um einen s3-wakeup handelt.
zumindest könnte man evtl. abschauen wie der bootvorgang da abläuft.

so, urlaub ist vorüber, jetzt probier ich mal was:
1.versuch:
knoppix booten mit hd dran - hda1 u. hda2 werden erkannt, und ich versuch jetzt mal auf eine andere disk zu kopieren. bis jetzt siehts nicht schlecht aus...

-komisch, das knoppix die fs auf anhieb findet und mounten kann :unsure:
...naja hauptsache es geht erstmal...
