wenn Du beim installieren satip auswählst, wird das vdr-plugin-satip installiert, und dieses übernimmt die Verbindung zum satip Server.

@wayne,
die Fehlermeldung mit dem "option requires an argument -- 's'" kommt von dem Fehler im Webif. Das habe ich inzwischen behoben. Ein Update des Webif wird es gleich geben.
Als Folge könnte es sein, dass das Automatische finden des SatIP Servers nicht klappt.
Per "ps ax | grep satip" kannst Du auf der Konsole prüfen ob Dein SatIP Server gefunden wurde. Dort sollte für jedes Device eine Zeile ausgegeben werden, welche die IP des Servers enthält.

Du kannst auch mal im Webif schauen, ob dort bei der SatIP Einstellung Dein SatIP Server ausgewählt werden kann. Die Selbe Suche wird beim Booten verwendet, wenn nichts ausgewählt ist.

Ja, das kann man in der Oberfläche der Octopus-Net auch ganz schön unter "Stream Status" sehen.
Voraussetzung für die Freigabe des EPG-Scan Tuners ist im VDR den Parameter "Pause nach der EPG Aktualisierung" auf Ja zu setzen. Der EPG-Scan ist sonst immer aktiv und belegt einen Tuner.

Es gibt gleich noch ein Webif Update, mit dem dann die "option requires an argument -- 's'" Fehlermeldungen nicht mehr auftreten (sofern ein SatIP Server gefunden wird)

Sorry für die Falschmeldung. Ich hab heute morgen MLD6.5 mit neuestem Image auf einem X86 PC frisch installiert und vThuner-ng-satip installiert (vTuner-ng wurde automatisch mitinstalliert) und bin nun auf dem gleichen Stand wie wayne.

Ich sehe, dass Du als Server die IP 192.168.178.99 eingetragen hast. Damit kann der "option requires an argument -- 's'" Fehler sowieso nicht mehr auftreten.

Das Problem, dass es nach dem Start kein Bild gibt konnte ich nachstellen. Es gibt ein Update des vtuner-ng-satip Paketes (für den x86'er, die anderen Plattformen folgen morgen mit dem nächsten Nightbuild).

Ich hab gerade ein Update der beiden Pakete vTuner-ng und vTuner-ng-satip durchgeführt.
Nun funktionieren Bild und Ton einwandfrei auf meinem x86-System.   :)
Einzig die automatische Erkennung meines Satipserver3 von Megasat funktioniert nicht (ging zuvor auch nicht). Ist aber kein Problem, da ich den Satip-Server von Hand eintragen kann.

Vermutlich lief bei Deinem Versuch gerade ein weiterer Build. Ich habe auch etwas am VDR Startverhalten geändert, und das im Anschluss bauen lassen. Deshalb ging in der Zeit das VDR Update nicht.
Normalerweise laufen die Builds nur Nachts, wo sie niemanden stören.

Jetzt habe ich auf meinem Server den vtuner-ng installiert.
Leider bleibt hier das Bild noch schwarz...

Habe die Dateien (0-4) händisch angelegt: -vtuner-satip-vtunerc0
Folgendes (0-4) ausgeführt:  systemctl enable vtuner-satip@vtunerc0
                                          systemctl start vtuner-satip@vtunerc0

Du darfst dafür weder händisch Services anlegen noch diese enablen oder starten. Ansonsten wird's eher nicht funktionieren.
