MLD 5.5 unstable und Kodi 19.1

Hallo Claus,

ich habe gerade kodi-stable installiert, das Du kurzfristig zur Verfügung gestellt hast  :) Was mir aufgefallen ist:


* Kodi wurde nicht gestartet. "usr/bin/kodi" versucht "/usr/lib/kodi/kodi-x11" zu starten, dort findet sich aber nur "kodi.bin". Ein "ln -s kodi.bin kodi-x11" hat geholfen.
* Kodi landete dann aber in einer Endlosschleife beim Starten (der Matrix-Hintergrund war ab & zu kurz zu sehen). Im Log fand sich mehrfach "Fatal Python error: initfsencoding: Unable to get the locale encoding". Ich habe daher Python3 nachinstalliert ("apt install python3") und dann konnte ich Kodi normal starten.
* Jetzt kämpfe ich noch mit der Fernbedienung. Viele Tasten funktionieren, mindestens aber "back" nicht. Und gerade die ist ziemlich essentiell. Wenn ich daher irgendwelche Tasten ausprobiere, stürzt Kodi meistens ab.Mein Fehler, ich hatte vor dem Start ".kodi" sicherheitshalber gelöscht aber dann im Paket gesehen, daß dort notwendige Dateien abgelegt werden (Lircmap.xml?). Nach "apt reinstall kodi-stable" ist momentan alles gut  :)

Ich habe die berichteten Fehler korrigiert. Bitte teste das neue Paket. Und sofern python bei Dir nur von Kodi benötigt wird, teste mal Bitte ob Kodi noch immer funktioniert, wenn Du das python Paket entfernst. Mich interessiert ob Kodi nur noch von python3 abhängt, oder auch von python2.
die Lircmap.xml wird benötigt, da die Fernbedienung über das lirc Protokoll mit Kodi verbunden ist, und nicht als Tastatur.

Aber es gab zumindest den Versuch, python 2.7 zu löschen.

Update:
Ich habe gerade kodi-stable deinstalliert und mit autoremove wurde auch python-kodi und einiges andere gelöscht. kodi-stable installieren ging dann und auch python3-kodi wurde automatisch installiert. "apt list "*python*"" zeigt mir nur noch "libpython2.7" als installiert an. Soll ich das noch versuchen zu löschen?

Ja, das wäre gut aber wohl nicht entscheidend.
Interessant ist auf jeden Fall, ob Kodi ohne das "python" Paket noch funktioniert.

ja, funktioniert auch ohne das python-Paket super. Wenn ich aber versuche, libpython2.7 zu entfernen, kommt:

Das laß ich dann mal lieber :o Denke aber nicht, daß Kodi die Lib nutzt.
