Hi,
VDR remote plugin doesn't accept incoming telnet connection on port 3333
I know that it should work using the following command
vdr -P"remote -p tcp:3333"
However i still not able to make it work.
I copied telnet file to /system/bin/ but connection is refused.
Any idea?

Is it hard to fix that issue?
MLD v5.3 Control plugin accepts incoming telnet connection on port 2002.
I don't have USB keyboard, Technisat USB HD remote doesn't work either.
I was not able to use my bluetooth keyboard even after i installed bluetooth support files.
I want to downgrade to MLD v5.3 however i need to know how to fix that HD channels stuttering/green color, Can someone help?

I have update the plugin version and activate the tcp connection functionality.
Please test it with the MLD RPI in the testing class.
Please tellme, if it's OK.

You can switch to the testing class without do a new installation. Simple go to the system setup / general ans select the testing class. Than go to the packages manager and upgrade the vdr and install the new remote plugin.

Okay, i did that.
But i'm still getting connection refused message.
I even edited svdrphosts.conf to allow connection on the local net.

what is the version of your remote package? You can see it on the package manager page, or if you call "vdr --version"

Perhaps it doesn't work because no DVB receiver connected?
As i mentioned in another thread if the DVB receiver is connected network will not work.

I added -p tcp:3333 to remote Plugin-Arguments

By the way, why there is no mencoder
Or dvb-mb?because dvb driver is not the right driver for Technisat USB HD
(Some HD channels doesn't work)

The mencoder do not work on the RPI.
The dvb-mb drivers are mutch older then the drivers of the dvb package. So we remove them.

How do you generate the additional remote.conf lines? Are they use the default MLD keyboard layout?
In your remote.conf is the POWER button missing. Can you give me the missing line.
