x86 Systeme (PC) / [MLD-5.5 testing] FFmpeg
« on: July 17, 2022, 22:26:50 »
It turned out the app doesn't depend on system FFmpeg as it has it own FFmpeg v4.4.2
Problem is solved by installing another app version.
Btw, i recommend everyone to use that application except Claus coz he doesn't like it  :)
It uses Opengl render and it supports audio forwarding via Wifi.

1st click on install sndcpy - start audio then your phone sound will be forwarded to your computer.

I think FFmpeg needs to be compiled from source with enable thread support.

Can you release FFmpeg v4.1.9 for MLD and enable thread support as well?

Hi BertL,
According to the command output Nvidia driver is installed and working properly.
Good luck :)

Edit :
I think it should show your graphics card name GT 710 as in the following example but i think it's not a problem.

Code: [Select]
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design/PCIe/SSE2

« on: June 23, 2022, 20:41:43 »
Hi,
Anyone has succeeded in making AppImage packaging using AppImageKit?
I would like to have Google-Chrome.AppImage  :)
I found this site that provides such package but there is a a disclaimer that says use AT YOUR OWN RISK  :D

https://apprepo.de/appimage/google-chrome

I found a tool for making Chrome portable, now i have Chrome v103 Portable running under MLD- 5.5 testing  :)

1st download Chrome latest version

Code: [Select]
wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Then follow the steps mentioned in the following page to make it portable

https://github.com/shivamgly/Google-Chrome-Portable-maker-for-linux

Best Regards.

Hi,
I found that application on Github however my question is not related to the application itself  :D
I just want to know how i make it look as the above screenshot because it look like this under MLD

Is that possible?
Which theme should i install?
I have read on google that you can install Linux Mint themes on Debian, right?

Best Regards.

x86 Systeme (PC) / <MLD-5.5 testing> WireGuard
« on: June 16, 2022, 22:01:41 »
So i'm trying to figure out WireGuard server, i reached that point when adding rules to ufw firewall.
However, i'm getting the following error

Code: [Select]
MLD>  ufw allow 51820/udp
ERROR: Couldn't determine iptables version

Code: [Select]
MLD>  iptables --version
iptables v1.8.2 (legacy)

Code: [Select]
MLD> update-alternatives --config iptables
update-alternatives: error: no alternatives for iptables
Any idea?
Or should i remove ufw since noone will connect to that server but me?  :D

Hi,

I have noticed WireGuard VPN while using OpenWrt then decided to make it work under MLD as well.
I activated WireGuard module in MLD kernel config, build it, installed iptables and wireguard-tools and voilĂ  it worked  :)
