I have one Vizio LCD TV that 5.3 and 5.4 the OSD inVDR is just a multicolored smear??It works on my other tv's but not this one.

Can that be fixed??
my iphone wont play video on it either.

I currently have a premium iptv subscription that I use KODI to play. I have 5.3 installed and use VDR for DVB Satellite, is there a way to play m3u playlist or stream in VDR??

I tried putting the url in network stream in VLC on MLD5.3 and get unable to open MRL even though the channel list shows up, but it works in a stand alone install and KODI iptv programs like potato tv and xtreamcodes iptv.?? For the guide info I have a link to an xml file that is updated and current and haven't tried xmltv2vdr yet.

there are about 1500 channels and VOD and I would like to incorporate it all into VDR if possible.

x86 Systeme (PC) / Will NOT reboot or Shutdown

I was using 5.0 for a while now because if I upgrade to 5.1, computer will not reboot or shutdown, I tried Clean installs of 5.1 and 5.3 and it hangs up and Will NOT Reboot or shutdown no matter what, I have to unplug or hold power button to Shut Down manually. This is what I am using

Any ideas as to why this has been a problem since 5.1 came out?? And can you Fix this? If you need any log files, let me know, will be happy to help anyway I can because 5.3 appears to be much better, just can't shutdown or reboot.

Hi All, I am running 5.0 DVB with KODI as an addon, when I enabled Simple IPTV PVR it Crashed KODI and I can not get back in to disable simple iptv pvr, is there a way to disable this PVR client from a terminal if I putty in??

Please Help.

Allgemein [ General ] / Wont Shut Down

I am not sure why, but something has changed. When I upgrade to 5.1 the Machine WILL NOT SHUTDOWN??(menu or webserver) it just sits there stalled with the bar about 3/4 across and under MLD Screen. It wont Reboot either from the Menu but it will from the Webserver??


Any Ideas??

and install 1 at a time starting with the straight file, then -dev, then -ffmpeg-dev
you will have to go back and forth on a couple packages, but they all installed correctly and they all work as advertised!!

I am not sure what I did wrong but every package I build has my username from computer added to it, ie. +dork.deb??

How do I fix? or is it necessary?

2. When I goto "Packages" in web interface it looks for files under devel/dork?? I know there are none because I did not upload any. I looked in sources.list, not sure how to change??

When I use the scan feature in setup, if it does not tune the first transponder it fails, can it be set to try ALL transponders without failing or start with a different one? and can the transponder file be updated  ? I searched and could not find, where is it located?
 LNB settings? or does it use settings from diseqc?

Hi,

I installed MLD5 64 bit on a Gigabyte BRIX 2807:

And it works very well and fast, however the wifi module is a realtek and needs a firmware patch:
https://packages.debian.org/jessie/all/firmware-realtek/download

I installed debian on this originally and the patch works, but am unable to install in MLD?

Can this be fixed? incorporated into network-wireless?

Ok,I got everything working but the remote?? I am using a Parex Media 9708 Remote, Basically it is a USB HID keyboard sort of. on previous versions I copied evmap to etc/eventlircd and added rule in lib/udev/rules.d and it worked fine. I tried a bunch of ways and No Go.. How can I get Remote to work?? Some keys work but not all . I tried selecting IR9703 from remote menu in setup, but that didn't work either, it did on an earlier version.

Well I think I screwed up, I built 5.0 on an AMD64 machine and built all amd64 bit packages I needed but the install candidate is an intel 32 bit machine. Is there a way to set the current build directory to build 32 bit packages also or instead??

Raspberry PI / RPI 4.01-32

Ok  so I successfully setup and built , everything is good, in packages folder there is "extras" that has a plugin I wish to use, how can I have that plugin incorporated into build images?? tried editing Makefile.config like 3.x but that didn't work and wiki is a little lacking when it comes to translation.

Ok, I checked out 4.0 for my raspberry, built plugin on raspberry, all worked but I did not checkout develserver. tried adding package to sd card before install but package will not install. No description error, Am building plugin again after checking out develserver and doing a make start. How do I actually get it to install after installing system ? , Do I copy the files to SD card before install?? instructions are a little confusing.

Is there any way to get sound through HDMI on Raspberry?? tried everything

And when I updated Kernel and Initramfs it Broke USB-DVB as well as a few other things like sound...., is there a way to revert back to Original kernel and Initramfs???
