No, the system UUID must not change. Only the data device configuration is maybe wrong.
Why do you must change the system UUID? That should be the ID of the new Device.
The @root folder should be a normal folder and was copied during backup process. But why do you ave a .Trash-0 folder? (also on your old installation). That is not typically for a btrfs file system.

Hi Claus,

The system UUID of the new device was changed in /boot/cmdline only but not changed in /etc/fstab, there was the ID of the old device.
The problem is i have root folder and @root folder inside every snapshot .... how i can solve that issue?
I noticed .Trash-0 folder also in MLD x86 system ... i thought it's normal to have it.

Also MLD backup option was not able to backup snapshots of the SDcard.

Snapshots will not be backuped. The backup is like a fresh installation. I think you can simply remove the @root folder on the backup.

Okay then creating an SDcard image was a better option because it clones the entire SDcard including snapshots.
Anyway, i deleted @root folder then i wanted to restore the latest snapshot i created.
What happened is the RPi doesn't boot anymore ... completely dead.
I then checked the boot partition, the problem is all the files are 0 KB.

In that case, your system is completely confused. Normally the @root folder is not visible inside any subvolume. If it's visible you should not mount a subvolume, but than also all snapshots should be visible,...

Yes, that why i made this topic.
Please if you have time copy your SDcard contents to a USB stick using the backup option,
After you boot the Pi from USB create a new snapshot then let me know if @root created inside that snapshot or not.

The @root folder is not normal inside a subvolume. So your original system is already in a bad state if it's also there visible.

The original SDcard system is actually fine, see screenshots.
The problem only occurs when i clone it to a USB stick then create a new snapshot.
I need someone else to try the same steps i did using the backup option then verify whether that problem exists or not.
