Upgrade 5.4 schlägt fehl

Hallo,

nachdem ich wegen defekt meines Boards mich mal wieder etwas mehr mit
Meiner Installation beschäftigen musste wollte ich nun von 5.3 testing auf 5.4 stable updaten.
Ich stelle das im WebIF ein und speichere. Nachdem ich auf alle Pakete aktualisieren drücke
legt er los, scheitert aber dann mit:
Failure  -  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Das habe ich mehrmals probiert (immer wieder mit Snapshot zurück). Ich bin auch schon bis zum Ende
"Done" gekommen, wenn ich z.b. vorher MPV und MariaDb deinstalliert habe.

Allerdings habe ich am Ende dann trotzdem bei der Paketliste folgendes:
E: Internal Error, AutoRemover broke stuff
Keine Aktualisierungen verfügbar.

VDR läuft danauch gar nicht mehr. Es kommt ein ASCII Bild "Keine Apps verfügbar" ?
 
Ich hatte wegen Zeitmangels schon sehr lange nichts mehr gemacht und mein MLD lief einfach,
nun ist das in meinem Kopf und ich komm nicht weiter. Die Snapshots machen einem das testen leicht,
aber den zundenden Einfall habe ich nicht. Vm aktuell laufenden 5.3 testing System habe ich mal eine
Debug-Log hochgeladen:

Bitte Poste mal das gesammte Log vom upgrade.
Zuverlässiger als ein upgrde von der 5.3 auf die 5.4 klappt eine neu Installation und einspielen eines Config-Backups. Die Neu installation kannst Du ja auch erst einmal testweise auf einen USB Stick machen und sofern dann alles funktioniert, den USB Stick als "Backup" auf die Festplatte übertragen.

vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Ich werde das mit Neuinstallation und USB Stick
demnächst versuchen.

Aktuell habe ich mal MPV Plugin und MariaDB deinstalliert und dann den Update versucht.
Paketinstallation ist durchgelaufen "done" und er würde VDR Restart vorschlagen.
Ich habe erstmal das Debug-Log gezogen:  DcWJo4

bei Pakete kommt nun wieder:
E: Internal Error, AutoRemover broke stuff
Keine Aktualisierungen verfügbar.

Nach Neustart: "Apps auswaehlen - keine Apps verfuegbar"

Sorry,

jetzt bin ich es schon wieder.
Ich habe nun die von Claus vorgeschlagene Neuinstallation auf eine zweite SDD gemacht.
Leider bekomme ich hier kein Menue, keine Logfiles im WebIF. Bei Systeminformationen
werden mir keine Laufwerke, Module, Status angezeigt …
Ich bin leider ziemlich lange raus damit am MLD etwas geändert zu haben und mache
vermutlich einen ganz dummen Fehler ?
Logfiles wären hier:  8bByPp

Evtl. hat hier jemand eine Tip für mich ?

nun bin ich nochmals etwas weiter gekommen. Da hatte ich einige Fehler gemacht. z.B. zeigt der Edge Browser die Logfiles nicht an, sonst geht es.
Ich habe nun MLD 5.4 Installiert und mein Backup eingespielt, wie von Claus vorgeschlagen. Die Wiedergabe ruckelt allerdings und ich habe im log

Hat dieser Eintrag ganz am Amfnag eine Bedeutung : "WARNING: no video driver given. Trying OpenGL2" ? Wo könnte ich den VideoTreiber angeben / Installieren ?
Ich habe eine AMD Radeon HD 6310 Grafik on Board, die ich einmal über HDMI und VGA ausgeben möchte.

Ein Tip wäre super !
