MLD mit 2 TV-Karten
« on: January 21, 2018, 22:46:54 »
Hello,

Is it possible to use 2 tv cards with MLD?

1- PCIe tv card
2- USB tv card

I read that it can be done using dual tuners like DD Cine-S2 but i couldn't find any tutorial for two different tv cards

Any suggestions?

Best regards

Hi Roland,

I tried it already but only one tv card is working however when i try to switch to another tv card i get no signal lock.

P.S. The two tv cards are connected to 2 different LNB.

Best regards.

No, LNB (1) Hotbird 13.0°E
      LNB (2) Nilesat  07.0°W

(No diseqc switch)

I read about it here but i think the tv cards should be connected to the same LNB.

Hi,

I think you have to edit then

'Setup – TV – DVB – Edit DiSEqC setup'

Thanks for your suggestion.

I edit the Diseqc setup already using Technisat Skystar Expess HD PCIe + Disqec + 2 LNB's
It works just fine.

Now i got 2 tv cards
1- Technisat Skystar Expess HD PCIe : Conected to LNB (1) Hotbird 13.0°E
2- Technisat Skystar USB HD : Conected to LNB (2) Nilesat  07.0°W

There is no Diseqc.

So, whether i choose Yes i'm using Diseqc or No i'm not using Diseqc only one tv card is working.

Best regards.

Sorry,

I know that there is a way to do it,
but i don't know how to tell the vdr to use a specific tv-card for a specific satellite.

No problem ... thank you for helping.
Here are different combinations i tried so far but i don't know which one is correct.
I believe the 1st LNB setup is wrong because i don't use Diseqc.

Hi Michael,

I'm registered on this nice forum since two weeks ago but we are all friends here :-)
Regarding my question, that task can be easily done on OpenPLi Enigma2 as you can see in the attachment.
I just can't figure it out using VDR.

I'm also sure, that it's possible to setup that, but I can't remember how. The reason is, that only one user ask for this in 5 years ;)
If you don't find the answer in the linked wiki, please take a request at https://www.vdr-portal.de/ since I'm sure there will be a user who remember how to setup it.

That's funny, perhaps it will be solved in 2023  :D
I will take a look at that link ... thanks Claus  :)

Yes, it's the same situation as mine except i'm using Hotbird and Nilesat on two dishes.
It would be nice of you to ask him.
It's better to wait for a week than waiting for 5 years :)

Thanks MarMic
