UEFI - Installation

Hallo,

Ich wünsche mir eine UEFI Installationsmöglichkeit für die MLD-5. Debian bietet das ja standardmäßig in seinen Installationsmedien an. Ich selbst habe da echt nicht die Ahnung was ich da machen sollte um die MLD-5 anzupassen. Ich denke auch dass dann die ganze Distribution darauf ausgelegt sein muss. Ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass es für einen Linux-Crack nicht soo das große Problem sein sollte. ::) Beschreibungen gibt es ja genug im Netz ;D - wie gesagt, für mich ist das alles zu hoch.

Jedenfalls könnte ich dann meine ZBOX CI323 Nano auch mit der MLD beglücken und müsste kein System von Hand installieren.

Ich hatte mir das mal vor nem Jahr angeschaut, und mir war das viel zu viel Aufwand

I have managed to install MLD-5 on my Zbox CI323; installed on a microSD card.
It boots using 'Legacy' option in the bios.

Neither the stable or testing version gave sound or picture. However using the special 4.14 kernel version of Pit I have managed to have both.
Although I still had problems as the screen had green interlace lines across it.
Choosing the no hardware decoding option in softhddevice stops this but doesn't solve the problem as there are still sync issues and image staggering, particularly on HD - so I think it is having difficulty keeping up.

Now looking at how to use the hardware decoding in the setup. It seems it may have something to do with transfer mode and access to the x-server; or the audio decoding. I'm still looking.
