Fll Screen

eyeamok:
I got raspberry working real good now, but I can't figure out how to make it full Screen on SD channels, on PC version Xineliboutput has option to Autocrop, but not in Raspberry. Is there a way to fix this??? HD channels are Full Screen.
2. I also use Parex Media Remote and have map, which I used to put in eventlircd on PC version, and rule to put in modprobe.d, but not on raspberry, tried Train Remote but it did not recognize a lot of buttons. Have tried a few things to no avail, what addons should I install to use this remote.
Thanks for all your help.

Hello eyeamok,
first of all: Welcome aboard!
You should think about using rpihddevice instead xineliboutput. Afaik xineliboutput won't be developed anymore for the RPI.
You can easily try rpihddevice by installing the rpi-image to an SD-card. Just download the image and unrar it to the freshly formatted SD-card, put it into the RPI, start the RPI and enjoy.
You can easily setup your remote using the webif.

Hi eyeamok,
if you already use the rphddevice (the rpi image), the fullscreen problem is maybe only for channels in your language? I never have had this problem (in my tests) for German channels. If this true, please inform the rphddevice developer on the vdr-portal http://www.vdr-portal.de/board18-vdr-hardware/board98-arm-co/p1163154-prototyp-rpi-ausgabeplugin/#post1163154 about this problem.
What kind of remote does it is? Does it have an USB reciver? Does I understand it right, that you can use/train some keys, and some other keys not?
Some USB remote control recivers don't work well on the RPI. Also most USB devices need a powerd USB hub. Du you use one? Does your RPI power supply is have enough? Does it have sourly more than 700mA?

power is good 1.2 amps,, usb remote "Parex 9708" media remote. I have ev.map for it and was no problem on PC version with dvb-remopte installed, MLD even had conf file for Parex Remote, and I have key map, but nowhere to put map on RPI, as for Rpihddevice, I looked at it in web menu and wasn't sure of what settings to use, will play with it tonight.
Thanks for all the help.

Hi eyeamok,
keymapping is usually done in file /etc/vdr/remote.conf. Have a look for this file.
Kind regards
