Teste mal bitte das angehängte Makefile(make clean vorm bauen nicht vergessen).

Nicht wundern das er dich da mal nachm root PW frägt aber er installiert dann das zuvor compilierte taglib. Ist jetzt erst mal zum Test obs überhaupt damit durchläuft.

Hmm...ok nu weiß ich auch nimmer weiter.

Vielleicht ist ja auch irgendwas installiert was reinstört. Ich hab mir hier halt ein reines 12.04.1 + Devel installiert und mach auf dem System auch nix anderes.
