Habs mir noch mal angeschaut und alle Schritte einzeln durchgeführt.
Der letzte Schritt (write bootblock on hda) geht schief:

D.h. es könnte der Unterschied darin liegen das ich von USB Stick teste und Du von CD?

So, wilde Klickorgie.
Wenn ich die Option "Format video patition:" weglasse, geht die Installation schief und ich bekomme obige Fehlermeldung.
