Hi,
It works after flashing latest build for Rpi4.
Still not working on x86.
I think something has changed in newer builds, what is it?

Bdw, here is certificate info for minidvblinux.de
Code: [Select]
notBefore=Sep 19 21:04:56 2021 GMT
notAfter=Dec 18 21:04:55 2021 GMT

It will expire on Dec 18?

Best Regards.

Hi Claus,

Thanks for replying,
I found this youtube tutorial for how to renew Let's Encrypt certificate automatically

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6LTMsa5bPM&ab_channel=TonyTeachesTech

It'll be easier for me to use Chrome instead  :)

Best Regards.

Hi Claus,
I have Chrome installed already on my MLD x86 therefore i said it'll be easier to use it.
Otherwise, which package should be upgraded in order to have the new certificate?
I tried to update openssl packge but i'm still getting certificate has expired notice.

Best Regards.

The problem is possible not, that the certificate is expired, but that LetsEncrypt change there root certificate, and older systems don't know (and also don't accept) the new root certificate. I don't know if surf use there own root certificate store, or if it use the systemwide. So I don't know witch package must be updated.

Hi Claus,
Don't worry about it,
No one else will complain about surf expired certificate because it seems that no one was interested to install glib-networking package  :)

Best Regards.

Hi,

Code: [Select]
MLD-rpi4 user.err vncserver-x11[1819,root]: VendorConfig: Error in Certificate "CN=GlobalSign,O=GlobalSign,OU=GlobalSign Root CA - R2": X.509 Error: Certificate expired
I see certificate expired notice when using VNC server as well.
Is it related to Let's Encrypt certificate?
Or VNC server itself?

I'm using MLD-5.5 2021.09.25

Best Regards.

Hi Claus,

I'll ignore the certificate expired notice because VNC server is working.
(or it seems to be working at least till now  :) )

Best Regards.
