DeepBlue
--------

DeepBlue is a skin for Klaus Schmidingers VDR (http://www.cadsoft.de/vdr).
The skin is designed to work with the original (2MB) Memory of the common DVB-devices.

Requirements:

DeepBlue-Skin needs text2skin Version 1.0 (or higher)

Installation:
-------------

Just unpack the downloaded file in your VDR config-folder under plugins/text2skin.
The channel-logos are located in DeepBlue/logos/logos_blue/tv and in DeepBlue/logos/logos_blue/radio.
If you want to see them on your OSD (and i bet you want) just put softlinks with the name of your channel 
to the original .png-file into DeepBlue/logos/ (you can remove my links if they do not map)

Example: 

cd /vdr/conf/plugins/text2skin/DeepBlue/logos/

ln -s logos_blue/tv/ard.png Das\ Erste.png 

...

I will keep the names of the files under logos_blue, so you only have to do this work once :-)

Resolution:
-----------

Since version 0.1.1 the skin scales in its hight. If you have a 4:3 resolution a OSD-Height of 506 should be ideal.

ToDos:
------

Menu-icons : 

I made some menu-icons for VDR and some of the plugins. If you are missing icons for other
plugins, let me know - i will try to put the icon in one of the next versions

At the moment the following plugins have an icon in DeepBlue:

Channel-logos:

DeepBlue comes with a basic set of channel-logos.
If you are missing logos for other channels, let me know ...
Maybe i will put the missing logo in one of the next versions.

..or ... even better make the new logo yourself and send it to me !

The Logos have to be 64x39 pixles.
The color of the background is #31567B.
Do not use more than 14 colors for a logo (inc. background-color).
