Hallihallo,
nach einem Update von 5.3 auf 5.4 testing stirbt der VDR beim Öffen des Menüs (skinnopacity ist aktiviert).
Das Problem gab's http://www.minidvblinux.de/forum/index.php?topic=6626.0 schon mal...

Der Speicher ist auf 256MB.

...nun gab' es u.a. auch ein Update für skinnopacity, was leider noch nicht geholfen hat.

Das wird geloggt, wenn man ins Menü möchte:

Gibt's was neueres bzw. wie bekomme ich was neueres?

leider besteht das Problem auch mit der 5.4 stable.
Vielleicht hilft noch die Fehlermeldung:

Du hast jetzt Stable und Testing versucht? Ist das auch bei der Unstable? Viel unterschied ist ja nicht zwischen den Version zur Zeit.

Zuerst mal sorry, das war vielleicht etwas verwirrend.

Habe meine ersten Versuche mit der 5.4 testing vor einem Jahr gemacht.
Dann letzte Woche mit der 5.4 stable.
Nun nochmals mit der 5.4. testing und unstable.

Leider ist das Problem immer noch vorhanden...

Da ich selber den Skinnopacity nicht verwende, kann ich momentan nicht viel dazu sagen. Müsste mal eine Testmaschine aufsetzen und damit testen. Gibt es einen Grund warum es Skinnopacity sein muss und nicht der Skindesigner? Da ist ein ähnlicher wie Skinnopacity. Vielleicht testest du den mal. Bei mir läuft der auf alles Systemen problemlos.

Skindesigner habe ich natürlich als Alternative installiert.
Da gibt es auch ein "altes" skinnopacity Theme.
Leider lässt sich das nur wenig über das OSD individualisieren.
Dazu müsste ich noch eine Baustelle aufmachen und die Syntax von Skindesigner lernen  ;)

Deshalb zuerst der Versuch mit skinnopacity...
