nach dem Update habe ich nur ein grünes, zappelndes Bild und der VDR steigt aus. Ein Log kann ich leider erste heute Abend hochladen
Ich habe gerade das Update erneut gefahren und das Bild ist in Ordnung. Der Systemstart dauert,gefühlt, erheblich länger als sonst. Vielleicht sieht du ja hier etwas: WKAxC9

das Update hat auf zwei Systemen reibungslos funktioniert, die längere Startzeit habe ich auch.
Da ist von einer Systemmeldung zu nächsten knapp eine Minute Leerlauf, hängt es eventuell damit zusammen ?

Ich habe auch eine exterm verlängerte Startzeit.
PC macht 1min nichts und dann kommt Meldung "udev seems to hang! continue now..."

Tritt der Fehler auch bei einer frischen Installation der MLD-4.5 unstable auf? Also bei der Installation nur die VDR Installation auswählen, und keine weiteren Pakete hinzufügen.

Eine frische Installation funktioniert!
Ich werde mit Backup/Restore probieren wieder zu meiner Urkonfiguration zu kommen. ;)

Wenn ich das "lircd2uinput" Paket rausnehme startet der PC wieder normal.
Leider geht dann mein "Atric IR-WakeupUSB ECO" Empfänger nicht mehr.

Und dann teste mal Bitte, ob es beim nachladen des lirc2uinput Paketes auch Probleme gibt.
Also ohne lirc2uinput Paket booten, dann lirc stoppen "stop lirc" dann das Paket laden "apt install lirc2uinput" und dann lirc starten "start lirc". Kommt es beim Start von lirc zu Verzögerungen?

In der Ausgabe sehe ich, das ein irman Empfänger erkannt und gestartet wurde. Wird Dein Atric Empfänger als irman eingerichtet? Ich dachte atric Empfänger sind immer Serielle Empfänger (Seriell über USB).

Mein Atric Empfänger wird als irman erkannt.
Mit einen Upgrade von heute habe ich auch keinen Ton mehr. Es wird kein Sounddevice mehr erkannt.

Das Problem mit dem Ton bestand nur kurz. Mit dem nächsten Update ist das wieder behoben.
Beim lirc stellt sich die Frage, warum der ohne lirc2uinput nicht gestartet wurde. Du kannst mal schauen was für ne Ausgabe Du bekommst, wenn Du den von Hand startest:
lircd -n --driver=irman --device=/dev/ttyACM0 --output=/var/run/lirc/lircd-ttyACM0 /etc/lircd.conf

Habe um 18:00 von testing auf unstable ein Upgrade gemacht da ging es mit lirc2uinput noch nicht ::)

Ich hatte wieder kurz Zeit zum Testen.
Wenn ich das "lirc2uinput" Paket nach dem booten installiere funktioniert Fernbedienung sofort aber UDEV hängst genau so wie beim Start.

jetzt kannst Du noch mit "irw /var/run/lirc/lircd-ttyACM0" testen. Das ist direkt die Ausgabe vom lircd
Bei mir funktioniert der atric usb eco allerdings auch noch nicht, und ich weiß noch nicht wo's harkt.

Mit lircd2uinput funktioniert er sofort nur udev hat dann Probleme.
Wenn ich wieder zu Hause bin werde ich deinen irw Vorschlag testen.

Ich hatte mode2 so versucht:

bekomme dann aber diesen Fehler:

Eigentlich dürfte mode2 nichts mit dem /var/run/lirc/lircd-ttyACM0 zu tun haben. Außerdem muss lircd gestoppt werden, damit mode2 funktionieren kann.

Mittels symlink habe ich Funktion auf VDR + IRW :)
ln -s lircd-ttyACM0 lircd
einen reboot überlebt das ganze nicht aber ist schon mal was.

Weil das direkt auf die Ausgabe vom lircd zugreift (siehe genannten Wiki Artikel). Ohne device Angabe wird auf die Ausgabe vom eventlircd zugegriffen, und da sind dann bereits zwei weitere Tools in der Verarbeitungs Kette und somit auch zwei weitere potenzielle Fehlerquellen.
Ich habe inzwischen heraus gefunden, das mode2 und irrecord mit dem atric usb nicht funktionieren und bestehende lircd.conf funktionieren auch nicht. Man ist also zwingend auf die Windows Software angewiesen um eine lircd.conf zu erstellen. Ein echtes Problem, wenn man kein Windows besitzt und ziehmlich bescheiden, das die nicht mehr kompatibel sind, wo die lircd.conf ansonsten mit jedem Empfänger identisch ist :(
Für mich ein absolutes KO Kriterium für den Empfänger.

KO Kriterium bedeutet hoffentlich nicht das der Empfänger nicht mehr von MLD Unterstützt wird. Bin von Hama-Mce auf diesen Empfänger umgestiegen da der Hama mit MLD5.3 nicht mehr funktionierte.
Wenn ich irgendwas testen soll bin ich natürlich jederzeit bereit. Dank der genialen Snapshot Funktion kann ja fast nicht schief gehn.

Ne, bedeutet nur, das ich den wohl nicht einsetzen werde. Ich habe derzeit keine Idee wie ich den konfigurieren sollte...
Es gibt einfach weiterhin keinen besseren Empfänger als den alten seriellen atric, sofern ein serieller Port zur Verfügung steht. Aber auch der funktioniert ja mit dem aktuellen Kernel nicht mehr so richtig.
Bleibt noch der YaUsbIr. Aber auch den kann ich nicht so recht empfehlen. Denn der stürzt immer wieder mal ab, das nur nen Reboot hilft.
IgorPlugUSB ist auch keine Lösung, denn der kann kein RC6.
Ich kenne aktuell einfach keinen fehlerfrei funktionierenden IR Empfänger der frei programmierbar ist (für beliebige Fernbedienungen funktioniert) und der den PC wecken kann...

Die lircd.config hatte ich auch für MLD5.3 gebraucht und damals unter Windows erstellt.
Ich habe in der rc.config beim lirc modul "ttyACM0" eingetragen seitdem habe ich auf evtest die Tastenbefehle nur VDR bekommt noch nichts.

Hab bei meinen 5.4 Testing schrittweise Upgrade gemacht bis nur noch das UDEV Paket übrig blieb.
Wenn ich dieses von "232-47 => 235-47.1" update habe ich 1min start Verzögerung mit dieser Meldung:

ich muss mal ganz blöd fragen. Was genau muss ich im Webinterface für den USB Eco einstellen?

Ok, ich antworte mir mal selbst.
- Installieren: NUR lirc
- Auswahl im WebIf ->Lirc Treiber: irman
- Lirc Start Parameter-> --device=/dev/ttyACM0
- Meine lircd.conf einspielen (Hab ich, glaube ich, bei easyvdr geklaut. Ist für eine Logitech Harmony mit dem KLS Profil)
Fertig. Und dann läuft der USB Eco ohne Probleme im VDR. Kodi muss ich dann mal probieren. Auch beim booten gibt es keine Verzögerung, die ich mit lircd2uinput auch hatte.

So funktioniert sie im VDR wunderbar im Kodi nicht out-of-the-box.
Wenn du in der Datei /etc/init.d/udev die Zeile "udevadm settle" auskommentiert, geht alles wieder normal auch mit lircd2uinput.
